Alabaster Bust Statue of Aristotle, White Head Sculpture, 5.91 in Tall

This decorative bust depicts Aristotle, the Greek philosopher and scientist who lived from 384 to 322 BC. He was born in Stagira, Chalkidice, on the northern edge of Classical Greece. The piece is a head-and-shoulders style sculpture intended for indoor display.

It is cast rather than carved. Crushed Greek alabaster stone makes up over 90 percent of the mix, combined with a small amount of resin binder and poured into a mold. The fine powder captures small details, and each sculpture is finished by hand for a solid, natural marble look and feel.
