42" Modular Black Cable Railing Corner Post for Deck Railing System

42" Modular Black Cable Railing Corner Post for Deck Railing System — stainless cable railing and horizontal rod railing systems — posts, kits, tensioners and hardware for a modern, open stair, deck or balcony.

Key Features

• Modular Corner Railing Post: Complete your 42-inch cable railing system with a sleek black corner post featuring 12 pre-drilled cable holes on adjacent sides for easier corner connections. Pair with level railing kits and stainless steel handrails for a coordinated modular system suited to residential and commercial projects, subject to local building requirements.
• Robust Construction, Lasting Protection: Built from robust T304 stainless steel with an upgraded outdoor matte black powder coating, this corner railing post resists corrosion, oxidation, and UV exposure to help preserve its finish. Included wear-resistant black rubber washers help protect cables from contact with metal hole edges for a clean, finished installation.
• Safety Compliance: Designed with a cable spacing of 3.15 inches, this structural corner post achieves a total height of 42 inches when paired with a handrail, meeting cable railing system standards. Typically, the span between two posts should not exceed 4 feet to pass the 4" sphere test and to ensure load-bearing capacity and safety. Check local regulations before purchasing, as state requirements may vary.
• Easy Setup, Flexible Corner Connections: A fixed top bracket simplifies handrail attachment at corners on decks, balconies, porches, and garden railings. For cable runs over 20 feet, use compatible concealed terminals () at an intermediate post or choose our T-hole corner post () to create separate tensioning sections without doubling posts at the connection.
• One System, More Possibilities: Build your layout with stainless steel handrails in multiple lengths, cables, terminals, and angle washers, available separately. Coordinated modular components connect deck sections and accommodate changes in direction. Free design assistance before and after purchase helps you select compatible parts for your project.
