Key Features

• 304 Stainless Steel: Crafted from high-quality stainless steel and finished with a sleek black coating, our stair railing post is built to withstand harsh outdoor conditions. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, it resists rust, corrosion, and UV damage, ensuring long-lasting performance and minimal maintenance for your indoor or outdoor cable railing system.
• Versatile Application: This 36" stair railing post features an innovative adjustable top bracket, allowing precise alignment for stairs with 25-35° angles. These adjustable top posts are designed to function as both structural end posts and intermediate posts in stairway sections. Compatible with 1/8-inch wire rope, the black cable railing post kits are ideal for a variety of DIY projects, including stair railings, patio railings, deck stair railings, and more. The smooth surface and matching color of the stair posts and wire rope create a modern, cohesive look for your railing system.
• Compliant with Railing Building Codes: Our stainless steel stair cable railing posts come pre-drilled with 10 holes, spaced 3 1/8 inches apart, to meet the 4 inch sphere test requirement. For optimal safety and stability, ensure that the span between two structural posts does not exceed 4 feet. If you need to extend the span to 7 feet, additional intermediate cable posts must be installed between them. Please consult the local building authority for regulations.
• Easy Surface Mount Installation: Our surface mount design offers decisive advantages over side-mount posts. It installs directly *on top* of your deck frame or concrete, not on the side, ensuring a stronger, more stable foundation. This eliminates the need for complex side-attachment to rim joists, extra blocking, or structural reinforcements. With pre-drilled holes and complete hardware, installation is faster, simpler, and more reliable. The result is superior load-bearing integrity, a cleaner aesthetic with no bulky side brackets, and a secure, long-lasting railing system-perfect for both DIY projects and professional installations.
